Part Three: A Story Describing Her “Soul Ties”

Over and over again God met with her.

GodMetWithHer

One day while sitting in church, she listened intently to the 9:30 a.m. sermon.  It was as if that sermonic message had become metaphorically a pair of loving arms.  The words her pastor spoke embraced her heart. Becoming a member of a church community was the best decision she made that year.  It was rightly fitting for her spiritual being.

Nevertheless, “Relationships” was the main topic of his three-part teaching series and each part had different sub titles.  Her pastor always had a unique way of presenting messages that could captivate his audience.  That morning he read the bible verses in Matthew 1:18-25.  In his text, he had used Jesus’ earthly parents as models.  Further into the message, he provided critical explanation and spiritual interpretation of that portion of the bible scripture.  He mentioned the importance of why Joseph—Jesus’ father and carpenter by trade, couldn’t have sexual intercourse with the young Virgin Mary, highly favored of God—Jesus’ mother.

She picked up her bible that lay beside her hip where she sat.  Reaching inside the front pocket of the bible, she pulled out her three-ringed 4-5/8 x 7″ spiral notebook.  Along with that, she pulled out a black ink pen to jot down notes.  “Intermingling of the blood” was the first of three points made.  The pastor continued to teach, but her thoughts would once again wander back to the guilt she felt from her first copulation experience.

One of the devil’s tricks is, he will show up masterminding diversions in one’s thinking, especially if it pertains to anything involving deliverance, faith, healing or salvation.  To a mature believer, it’s no wonder.

Needless to say, by this time she had been more spiritually equipped, more mature in handling invasive thoughts. HearingTheWord

She was empowered and as a result, she fought to keep her thoughts centered on the message.  For example, she began to, in a low voice speak forth quick, simple prayers such as . . .

“Father God, please govern my thoughts” or
“I am beautiful. I am wonderfully made.”

As the pastor elaborated, she somehow was able to connect then associate the message with her soul ties.  During the next few minutes, her thoughts would be renewed.  She heard something in the teaching that would change the way she felt about her body—the way she would thereafter think about herself.  That nano moment in time would become an epiphany—a supernatural revelation.  Thereafter, she actuated wisdom, a by-product of her pastor’s teaching.  That gospel would forever be etched in her memory.  He had taught,

“…when a female’s hymen is penetrated, it brings forth a blood flow from the broken membrane. The breaking of the hymen produces a trickle of blood which produces soul ties as the male has entered into the female.

That would have been the case had Mary’s body, the vessel for Jesus’ entrance into the world, had laid with Joseph.  Even Mary’s blood couldn’t have touched Jesus in her womb.  If so, it would have been contaminated.  Medical studies show that while the embryo is being incubated in the womb, the mother’s blood doesn’t touch that child.  Rather, it’s the father’s blood that flows through the veins of the embryo. Thus, God’s Spirit had overshadowed the virgin Mary, and that produced the seed of Jesus in her womb…”

Supernatural, revelation knowledge flowed, saturating her spirit being.  That which she was hearing could not be explained from a natural standpoint.  All that she was receiving was from the Spirit of God.  His life is in His words which are shown in the bible, and they were passing into her spirit.  She realized that because earlier in the new converts’ class, the minister expressed in greater length the importance of salvation.  He read from Romans 8:16 which stated,

“For [H]is Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.”

In her mind, there was no longer any obscurity concerning soul ties.  The wealth of information had been accepted—internalized.  From there, she compiled every sheet of paper with notes from that Sunday’s teaching.  Her summary of notes read as follows . . .

Pastor Saunders: Speaker

Subtitle of Message: “The Unbloody Union”

The result of  mixed fluids after coupling causes a reproducing after its own kind. For instance, that reproduction may come in the form of a child or a thought, emotions, but most commonly a soul tie.

Along with that, the shedding of the pure blood of Jesus is the only way our sins are forgiven, and that’s the greatest soul tie any man can receive. God, the Father of Jesus couldn’t have His Son come into the world to save mankind from their sins if Jesus’ blood was tainted with sin.  Therefore, since the blood of Jesus was never tainted, when a person surrenders his or her life to Him via salvation, he or she will be covered by it.  Thus, their sins will be forgiven, that includes their soul ties.

“Oh my goodness! that’s me”, she exclaimed with revelation.
“The act of my soul ties was already forgiven!”
“Thank you Jesus—Hallelujah!”Forgiven

After years of guilt and shame, she was finally set free.  The ties were broken! Her search for self acceptance, the key to really feeling belonged to had ended.  She also forgave of all those involved in her circle of soul ties—knowingly and unknowingly.  As well, she had a greater love and respect for herself like never before.  Although the process of her journey was painfully difficult, she thought it worth while because she came out of it as a victor opposed to a victim.

In days ahead, God had placed a new song in her mouth.  The praises and thanksgiving to her Lord rolled off of her tongue like Oscines at the break of day.  In the early morning when she arose and before she attended to her affairs, she could be heard singing this hymn . . .

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

    • I cannot express the depth of the joy that I’m feeling right about now. I’ve only been a part of the blogging community for almost three months. And I’m very grateful to receive such a warm and lovely post/card. Far better than this act, it’s not just the post/card sent, but it’s the thought behind it. Thank you lady Summer for your thoughtfulness.
      Happy Valentine’s Day!❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹

  1. Simply riveting! I read all parts of this story and definitely relate to the female character. Soul ties are the reason I choose to remain chaste until marriage. We only get one body and we must keep it a worthy temple for the Lord.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
