Scripture instructs us to: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Tonight, the Light of Embassy Missions Ministry Team did just that. We met lady Shavonna on the street of S.E. Washington, D.C. sitting next to a park bench, with very little lighting in that area. At first, I offered her a blessing package. It was filled with toiletries, a pair of socks, bottled water and a love note. I then offered her a blanket. I had two under my arms. I asked her which one she wanted. She pointed to the earth-toned-multi-colored one shown in photo. I told her my purpose there with her and said, “Father God and Jesus loves you.” I told her that I loved her and then blew her a kiss. What blew me away was, she blew back a kiss to me. I returned to my vehicle, but not without praying for her.
I believe that God’s Mercy and Grace is with her. As well, I instructed her guardian angels to protect her always, in Jesus name.
